Skilled Migration to Australia

The New Australian Skilled Migration Program

Under the Australian Skilled Migration Program, the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) has provided a range of skilled migration visas for immigrants who are qualified and have skills in occupations, which Australia is in need of. It is very important that prospective applicants are aware that further requirements need to be met before an application will be valid. Applicants should seek advice regarding Australian Skilled Migration eligibility before making an application.

As of September 1, 2007, The Australian Immigration Department (DIAC) has introduced many changes to the skilled migration program which has affected many applicants onshore and offshore. Many applicants have not been able to apply or been refused as a result of not following the changes and seeking the correct advice.
